Jaey ist seit 2012 als Musikproduzentin, Sängerin, Songwriterin und
Live-Act aktiv. Angesiedelt ist ihre Musik zwischen Pop,
Electronica,
House, und Bass meist in Kombination mit ihrer charakteristischen
Stimme. Der Erfolg ihres, als Doppel-EP veröffentlichten, Debut-Releases zeigte sich durch extensives Radioairplay auf dem Alternativsender FM4 und Auftritten auf zahlreichen Festivals. Neben dem Einzug ihres Songs "Gentle Shiver" in die FM4 Charts war sie auch als Soundparkact des Monats vertreten. Das Popfest Wien findet ihren Stil der Verbindung von Electronica, House, Bassmusik und Singer-Songwriter-Pop besonders spannend. Grundsätzlich produziert sie ihre Musik selbst, setzt aber auch gern auf Kollaborationen mit Musikerkollegen wie z.B. Harry Jen, Curtiss Cobane und caTekk. Es folgte ein Kollaborationsalbum mit dem Produzenten Harry Jen namens "Jaeyn". Bei diesem Projekt verschmelzen Soul, Pop, Wonky, House, Chill Trap and Future Garage zu einem großen Ganzen. 2019 kommt ihre neue EP Colors. Und es hat sich einiges geändert, aber nicht alles. Weniger Trap und mehr Soul, weniger House und noch subtilere Arrangements zeigen eine deutliche künstlerische Entwicklung und das Einarbeiten verschiedenster Einflüsse - von Jazz bis Cloud. Liveauftritte werden solo mit elektronischem Live-Set und Stimme, oft in Zusammenarbeit mit Visual Artists wie Luma Launisch oder Nita absolviert. Bei größerer Live-Besetzung kommt Unterstützung von Harry Jen am Keyboard und Raphael Rameis (Catastrophe & Cure) an den Drums. Since 2012 the Vienniese artist Nicole Jaey is active as music producer, singer, songwriter and liveact. Her music is atmospheric and bass-driven. It's ranging between Electronica, House, Bass and Pop, mostly in combination with her remarkable voice. Her Double-EP debut release gained extensive radio airplay on Austria's alternative radio station FM4. She was FM4 Soundparkact of the month and entered their Charts with her song "Gentle Shiver". Press classifies her style, a junction of electronica, house, bass music and singer-songwriter pop,as particularly exciting. She produces her music by herself, but also places emphasis on collaborations with fellow musicians such as Harry Jen, Curtiss Cobane, caTekk and many more. Her collaborational album with the producer and multi-instrumentalist Harry Jen is called "Jaeyn". Elements from styles as diverse as soul, pop, wonky, house, chill trap and future garage are used to paint a bigger picture.In Live shows she performs solo with an electronic Live-set and her voice, often accompanied by Visual Artists as e.g. Luma Launisch or Nita. When playing with a larger ensemble, support comes from Harry Jen on the keyboard and Raphael Rameis (Catastrophe & Cure) on the Drums. 2019 her new EP Colors gets released. Some things have changed, but not everthing. Less Trap and more Soul, less House and more subtle arrangements show an obvious artistic development and the inclusion of different musical inspirations - from Jazz to Cloud. |
